BeActice Paddle Day


Cabra Kayak Club will be running a come and try day this Saturday 25th September as part of the European Week of Sport and in partnership with Canoeing Ireland. The day is called BeActive Paddle Day. If you want to try out kayaking, the details are below. 


Due to the covid restrictions, we have changing rooms with limited capacity. You will be provided with a helmet, buoyancy aid, kayak, paddle and if needed a wetsuit. If you own your own wetsuit, please wear that or you can wear swimming shorts and a football jersey/ thermal top if the weather is warm. 


You will be guided by our qualified instructors. Once you have booked a spot through canoeing irelands website, you will receive a confirmation email as well as information on what to bring on the day. There is parking available beside our club house on the royal canal.
